How to install Brauni on your phone and your computer
Install Brauni like any other app on your iPhone, Android or computer, without going through an app store. It opens full screen and is always at hand.
1. 1On iPhone, open app.brauni.io in Safari, tap Share and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
2. 2On your computer, open app.brauni.io in Chrome and click the install icon in the address bar.
3. 3On Android, open app.brauni.io in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu and choose “Install app”.

How to add a patient in Brauni
Add a new patient in one minute. Only first name, last name, date of birth and gender are required, and Brauni can fill in the profile from what you tell it.
1. 1Go to Patients and tap “New Patient”.
2. 2Enter personal details, contact information and insurance. Optional fields can be completed later.
3. 3Turn on WhatsApp reminders and choose a profile template for the type of patient.
4. 4Tell Brauni what you know about the patient or paste a referral: it fills in the profile and you review it before accepting.
5. 5Check the consents already signed and tap “Save”.

How to create a session note: type it, dictate it or send a voice message
Session over: tell Brauni how it went in a voice message and it completes the note with your template. You review every field before saving.
1. 1Go to Session notes and tap “New Note”, or open it from the appointment in your calendar.
2. 2Choose the session and the template you want to use.
3. 3Tap the microphone and tell Brauni how the session went. You can also type it.
4. 4Review the fields it filled in, edit whatever you want and tap “Accept”.
5. 5To add something specific, dictate it into that field and tap “Save note”.

How to create a template for session notes, clinical records and profiles
Build your own templates and document each case your way. The steps are the same for session notes, clinical records and patient profiles.
1. 1Go to Templates, under Tools, and tap “New Template”.
2. 2Choose the type: session note, patient profile or clinical record.
3. 3Start from a base template or a blank one and add fields: text, lists, scales, dates, files and more.
4. 4If you'd rather describe it, ask Brauni: it suggests the fields and you decide which ones to apply.
5. 5Tap “Save” and the template is ready to use.

How to schedule a one-off or recurring appointment, in person or online
Schedule an appointment in seconds, once or every week. We show you how to create a series of sessions and what to do when a patient can't make it one week.
1. 1Go to Appointments, tap “New appointment” and choose the patient.
2. 2Choose the date, time, length and format. If it's online, the Google Meet link is created automatically.
3. 3Turn on “Repeat appointment” and choose the frequency and how many sessions or until which date.
4. 4Tap “Create Appointment”: the whole series goes on your calendar.
5. 5If a patient can't come one week, cancel just that session and the rest stay the same.

Brauni AI: ask about your patient
Ask for a progress summary, patterns across sessions or a draft for the next one. Brauni checks the patient's record, shows you which sources it used, and you review and decide.
1. 1Go to Brauni AI and choose the patient.
2. 2Type your question or tap a suggestion, like “Summarize progress” or “Prepare the next session”.
3. 3Review the answer and the record sources it checked.
4. 4If you'd rather talk, tap the microphone and record your question.
5. 5Every conversation is saved in the patient's history.

How to set up your public profile in the Brauni directory
Set up your directory profile so new patients can find you, see your open slots and message you.
1. 1Go to My profile and open “Public profile”, under Practice.
2. 2Check what's missing before you can publish: your bio, a photo and at least one specialty.
3. 3Upload your photo and choose your profile URL, your session formats and the languages you work in.
4. 4Choose up to 10 specialties and add your practice address or mark that you only see patients online, along with your fee range.
5. 5Tap “Save” and then “Publish”.

How to turn on two-step verification (2FA)
A password alone isn't enough to protect clinical data. With two-step verification, signing in to your account also requires the code from your phone. Turning it on takes one minute.
1. 1Open the menu under your name and tap “Security”.
2. 2Under “Two-step verification”, tap “Enable with app”.
3. 3Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or another authenticator app.
4. 4Enter the 6-digit code and tap “Confirm setup”.
5. 5Keep your backup codes somewhere other than your computer: you'll need them if you lose your phone.
